InZuKo is based on three interacting key concepts.
- Future-relevant skills
- Research-based teaching and learning (FnLL)
- Learning Experience Design (LXD)
Future-relevant competencies
We consider skills to be relevant for the future if they will become scientifically and socially important over the next 5 to 10 years, as they are relevant for confident action and effectiveness. They are often interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary, but can be approached in a subject-specific manner. They are characterized by their topicality and the need for critical scientific debate, and are predestined to be addressed through research-oriented teaching and learning.
Research-based teaching and learning
At the heart of research-based teaching and learning is the aim of incorporating current research into teaching and bringing together research, teaching, and learning. This encompasses research-based, research-oriented, and research-driven teaching and learning.
Learning Experience Design
Learning experience design is a process and method for jointly developing learner-centered teaching and learning opportunities. In InZuKo, learning experience design represents a conceptual and methodological toolkit that promotes the co-creative, evidence-based, and iterative development of innovative teaching and learning opportunities.
